Not to mention its coming from 3 directions in 2 different phases( the Subwoofer is usually set to phase 90) and 3 different distances/delays. All good quality subwoofers will provide High Level and Low Level input for Left/Right to use with the internal crossover. This works great, however the sub is creating audio based on the distance information for the Left/Right channels(if your Integrated AMP has distance delays)... thus creating a somewhat delayed/shifted bass stereo image because regardless of where the subwoofer is it cannot be in two places at once.

More after the jump...

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://sybersnake.com/journal/2008/6/17/perfect-safari-theme-setup-firefox-3.html"><rss:title>Perfect Safari Theme Setup FireFox 3</rss:title><rss:link>http://sybersnake.com/journal/2008/6/17/perfect-safari-theme-setup-firefox-3.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

RE: http://macvswindows.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=472

First, go here and download the GrApple Yummy theme: http://www.takebacktheweb.org/

Next, install Fission, which copies the combined address/progress bar from Safari: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1951

Finally, install Stylish (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108) and then the combined stop/reload button style: http://userstyles.org/styles/10

I'll take this one step further. Type about:config in the address bar. Set the filter to 'browser.tabs'. Change values browser.tabs.tabMaxWidth and browser.tabs.tabClipWidth to 180 and 150 respectively.

Open 'Stylish' Add-on preferences and add

#throbber-box { display: none !important; }

to the "Combine Stop/Reload buttons" style.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://sybersnake.com/journal/2008/6/6/jedai-api-docs.html"><rss:title>Jedai API Docs</rss:title><rss:link>http://sybersnake.com/journal/2008/6/6/jedai-api-docs.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Jedai</dc:subject>

I just uploaded the API Docs for Jedai ( jedai.googlecode.com ) to http://labs.emoten.com/jedai/docs/html/. Then it hit me, all I have to do is make sure the referencing ( the Signal/Slot system ) was using Weak References. Therefore, by design, when the only reference to item B exists is in a Weak Reference in a Dictionary, it will still be gc'd and how the signal/slot is setup the gc process actually unlinks all the event handlers automatically since they are, themselves, bound to the instance.

Now that I have it written, I've got to test it.. now how do I go about that -- Uggh.

I had compiler recursions errors ( where my console spit out 20+ page long stack trace that had a pattern ; ) and complete VM crashing via StackOverflow when restarting Eclipse.

This Thursday, I migrated to the Standalone version.. and I will give credit where credit is due. The Standalone version WORKS. Now, I had to create a new workspace and work around tiny configuration things when importing old flex projects and more SDKs. So, I now have everything working smoothly.

Since I could not do Flex development inside of my Java IDE I chose to do Java development inside of my Flex IDE. I was able to install everything needed. However, I ran into one big problem. The Standalone version of Flex Builder 3 Beta 2 does not handle Text File Encoding properly.

Flex seems to want to default to UTF-8 which can't display many characters often needed when dealing with formatted text. Also in UTF-8 it seems that runtime class injection ( when you save a Java class and it is loaded in to your currently debugging application ) does not work in any Text Encoding besides "MacRoman", which isn't even available in the drop down --you have to type it in. ( yes, I am on a Mac and am using Java 6 Developer Preview 6 ) When I fire up my good ole' J2EE Eclipse 3.3, I can chose any Text Encoding and it will update in the running application.

So, If your having a problem where you think your runtime injection stopped working, it's probably a issue with Flex Builder's Text Encoding, setting to "MacRoman" makes everything work nice ;).
